Paula is a Producer/Production Manager with nearly thirty years of experience in media-related industries.

Paula has taken several network, PBS, and cable documentary films from inception to air date. She was the Unit Production Manager on the PBS science documentary series "The Infinite Voyage" for WQED. She designed a budgeting and reporting system for the 20-episode, $20 million series that allowed management to carefully track the per-show expenses, including the complex special effects for this series. As Unit Production Manager, her duties included Office Manager for the staff, Systems Manager for the team's computers, and Special Effects Coordinator. She also oversaw the construction of the show's motion control platform.

As Production Manager for twenty-five one-hour documentary films, in addition to nearly twenty corporate videos, Paula has sent and tracked film crews to every continent on the planet, and gotten them back. Bringing each film in on time and under budget, she has hired crews and secured locations, and licensed stills, clips, footage, and music rights for broadcast and theatrical distribution worldwide.

Paula was the Producer of The Learning Channel documentary film, "Rock & Roll Genius: Phil Spector." She helped secure the funding for this one-hour special and supervised the making of the film, from budget preparation and approval through post-production and delivery.

Paula has been the production manager and production coordinator for numerous theatrical corporate videos. Her duties included supervising and implementing storyboards, supervising CGI sessions, building and supervising budgets and shooting schedules, and managing and participating in casting sessions. Paula also helped run the set on many of these shoots, serving as Assistant Director.

As a civic leader with military outreach programs, Paula has toured destroyers, aircraft carriers and air bases, and has witnessed simulated tank warfare in the high desert and mid-air refueling of FA/16 fighter jets.

Paula began her journey in the world of business in electronics retailing. She worked her way up through sales, then stepped into management. She was promoted to General Accounting, and then Financial Planning and Analysis for the 100-store chain of CBS Retail Stores.

Paula is a roller coaster enthusiast, a gourmet cook, and a loyal fan of the San Francisco Forty-Niners. She lives in California's wine country and writes a monthly column, "Wine News From The North," for five Los Angeles-based publications.
